Partagas cigars represent one of the oldest Cuban cigar brands founded in 1845 by a man named Don Jaime Partagas. The founder of the company was known for his experiments with tastes and flavors, he also enjoyed travelling around the world to make sure only the best tobaccos would be used for the cigars made by his company. His apprentice Ramon Cifuentes later because his successor was helping him in the business, and this is why Partagas cigars are considered to be one of the few brands actively looking for new things to be implemented, while other cigar brands are most likely to stick with what they are familiar with, claiming to preserve the tradition. Ramon Cifuentes made cigar manufacturing the business of his entire life and was later succeeded by his son - Ramon Cifuentes Jr. The factories of this company were the first ones to hire a lector that would read for the cigar rollers while they were working, later this practice spread to other cigar factories in Cuba. Because of the company's constant urge to come up with new tastes, they offer the widest range of kinds and shapes of their cigars, Partagas Spanish Rosado being the latest gem added to the collection.
